One good thing was that the room and shower were clean
We were not given one of the rooms that was shown on the website, I expected something better. Room was too noisy.
Staff was very friendly and very accomodating. Went out of the way to help despite being very obviously busy with phones ringing off the hook. Hotel was on the 2nd floor of an apartment building, was nice, clean, and cozy. Rooms were small but spacious enough to sleep and keep all our stuff comfortably. Location was good, has buses right outside going to most all the sights directly withing 25 minutes maximum, as well as on to the main metro/train station in about 5-10 minutes. You could also walk to the hotel in 15-30 minutes from some of the closer sights, and located in safe areas so walking at night was not a problem.
It is good value for the money considering other places in Rome. Only downside is that it's missing some amenities of more expensive hotels obviously, such as free wi-fi, breakfast, etc. It's nothing special, but if you're looking for an affordable, clean, and convenient place to stay for the nights, this is where to be.
Nothing!(except one of their staff who was helpful!)
The worst part was the entrance door!
Nice place, nice neighborhood, typical italian market place and not so much expensive cofes, I liked it
Big problem of the most Italian accomodations it that they do not have soundproofing walls - you will listen whatever your neighbors do - and this place it is the same problem ... There is not free wifi internet connection.
Nice spacious room with comfortable bed.
No curtains or plugs in the sink. Noisy. No room service. No real erception area.
Very good style in the room. Clean toilet and very kind people in the hotel.
The hotel doesnt have a name on the outside of the building so its difficult to find.
The personnel was really nice, funny and helpful The place itself is in the apartment building with old elevator which is an interesting experience All rooms were clean and tidy It's walkable to all touristic places - 1 hour walk max Below there's a perfect place for breakfast - Materiaprima
The tear and wear is really quite big, but it doesn't irritate, except for the window that is not closing properly (we were in summer, but in winter it might be cold)
Very Nice. We stay during one night et the localisation was perfect in Roma.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and causy and had all what you need for a few days stay. The hotel is situated in a historical building in a quiet street just a short walk from a bus stop with direct bus to major sights. A metro and train station are also in a walking distance. The area appears very safe. There are few good restaurants around and local market across the street. Italian breakfast (fresh bakery, cappuccino etc.) was offered for an additional small amount of money. There was a good wi-fi, though in some corners of the room the reception fell so I had to move little bit. The hotel is a great value for money and I would definitely return if back to Rome one day.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel and the room were clean. The wi-fi worked fine. It was fairly easy to reach the centre from there by bus.
There is no bar or lobby in this hotel as it is located in a residential building and for this reason it is not possible to have a drink in a hotel or relax in common areas there. Breakfast is only served till 9:30am even on the weekends. There was a lot of hoover noise outside our doors in the morning which was disruptive especially that it was the weekend.
We are able to check in even after mid-night, the reception waited for us! The location is also very good.
The room is a bit different than the picture shown on the website but it is still acceptable as long as it is clean.
perfect for traveling with friends, the hotel is not right in the center but only 10 mins walking distance from tube Castro Pretorio (that's only few stops from main attractions like Coloseum or Circo Massimo) and bus stop (#62 for central Rome) is just around the corner (approx.20 mins. ride). Compact clean hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, good wi-fi, nice and cheap places to eat and drink near by (try Disco Volente!!!)
I have stayed at this hotel many times. The location is excellent being very close to the centre with easy access to buses and underground tube. The staff are very good and always helpful. The hotel has lots of character with one of the last 1920's style elavators.
The rooms can do with being updated. I had a broken shower unit and worn furniture etc. nothing that serious though.
Absence of a mini fridge in the room. Old TV and a bit expensive.
The hotel is located a 15 minute walk away from the metro, has cafes, shops and restaurants near by, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and nicely furbished.
I would imagine this is unusual, and is very minor, but while we were out our room was refurbished, which felt a bit intrusive as all our stuff was removed and wasn't put away properly.
